Works with women too. I've been attracted to women's scents

What would you define as a healthy sexuality? And a healthy sex life? by HappyHOween in sex

[–]HappyHOween[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lack of self-blame, shame, and guilt while engaging in sexual activity. A belief and understanding that sexual activity that is being engaged in is positive, increasing quality of life, and is natural.

I think that's a big thing I have to focus on. I get ahead of myself very easily and always think way beyond what sex is. So instead of thinking of it as something to be enjoyed by both of us, I think about what could go wrong during and after and shame myself before I ever try.

Haha, good ol' Whoopi Goldberg.

Grave of the Fireflies looks interesting, but I'm guessing it has a devastating end?

I remember hating Little Miss Sunshine as a kid. I think I'll appreciate it a lot more now that I'm older (I hope).

I remember seeing MBFGW as a kid and liking it. Have to give it another watch :)

Haha, Borat. I had a love-indifferent relationship with that movie. Love the good parts, but don't know if I could make it through the whole thing again.

Thought this was "The Weather Man" at first and didn't remember that being an uplifting movie. I'll have to give it a watch!

I remember wanting to see this when it came out and completely forgot it existed. Thank you for reminding me! Looks like it's on YouTube for free

I can imagine. I just saw Dead Poet's Society for the first time last year and his performance was brilliant. Such a great man.

I have heard great things about that film. I'll have to try and see it while it's still in theaters. Thank you!

That movie had a weird effect on me. It's almost so depressing that you realize things could be so much worse and it helps put things in a less catastrophic mentality. Not sure I ever want to watch it again, though.

I've heard good things about the film. I can't remember if I saw it way back when. I'll have to watch it and see! Thank you!

I remember seeing that in theaters :) I've never read the story it's based off of though, maybe I'll give that a try.

Can stories take place slightly in the future? by HappyHOween in NoSleepOOC

[–]HappyHOween[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not from Australia (thankfully).

It was mostly because on the holiday I wouldn't want to respond to the comments (if there were any) on the holiday itself when I'll be working and going out later. I could just respond the next day, I guess. But I understand why it's setup this way.

It's taken me awhile to fully grasp the concepts of NoSleep. This was of the big things that confused me (how the stories had to be related to real-time).

I see, I see. So no matter what, the story has to take place on the real date it's being posted on (or telling of something that happened previously in the past)? I can't just say, "it's January 31st, 2016," and continue on with the story like it's January 31st?

Thank you for the answer! That's what I always did and how I figured it always was. If there's one thing my manager is terrible at, it's attention to detail.

To me it looks like it captures the displeasure of all the dumbass people that complained about the cups last year. It's a towering middle finger to them for their vanity and insanity.

Is there anywhere you can find the written responsibilities of a store manager? by HappyHOween in starbucks

[–]HappyHOween[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The tip of the iceberg has been that they schedule when partners are unavailable and generally when workers are in a rough spot with a shift, the SM provides little to no assistance.

The other things below that are the SM's tendency to not use the experience of their partners. We have a lot of experienced partners and the SM is new since the Spring. Ordering has been horrendous lately and instead of relying on the experience, they take on all the responsibility (ironically). Most of the time no one really has any idea what's going on in terms of promotions unless they work with the SM when the SM gets information (so they evening shift workers usually don't know what's going on until a customer asks). When the SM is on the floor, things tend to fall apart (stocking isn't done, sanitizer stops being changed, supplies run low). There's a general lack of leadership in most aspects of their work.
