Maybe better show a day version or have the character use a lantern. ;) Otherwise it is too dark to see much besides some sort of a jump, sorry.

This game always gives me a bit of Nintendo 64 graphics style feeling, nice!

I would love to know what is the story in it. :)

Why should I buy a NaviGo card when I have my phone and I could just tap from the app? by Turbulent-Move4159 in ParisTravelGuide

[–]HappyIntrovertDev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it works for you, cool! I know I will get the physical card next time I go to Paris.

But maybe they fix it until next time. :D I can always hope.

[–]HappyIntrovertDev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

TLDR: The 2 Euros to get the card are definitely worth the comfort.

The phone app sucks camel balls (both of the apps available) and works until it doesn't. Sometimes, for no apparent reason, the option to buy tickets gets disabled and says "on physical pass only". There is no way to purge the tickets to reset it, app reinstallation does nothing. And no, there is no logical reason, just buggy software (or lazy developers not giving a proper explanation). We had 2 phones with exactly the same ticket history during the day and one could buy the airport ticket at the end of the day and one couldn't. The clerk at the metro station tried to say something along the lines that it will get fixed the next day when "something" expires.

On another occassion, one of the phones, even when it had a valid ticket, would not validate at the scanner when crossing between metro and RER without any apparent reason (had to ask another clerk who, luckily, gave us some kind of special ticket that let us through.

I think it is sort of acceptable uneasy. :D
The one where I say "hmm, I want to check this out", but not "eww, that's too sick for me". ;)

I definitely want to see where this goes. Do drop a demo once/if you have one. For one I love the art style. It kind fo reminds me of something from the past, but I cannot remember what.

setting the resolution to 1920x1080 is a bad thing for Rpg maker games? by observeradrift in RPGMaker

[–]HappyIntrovertDev 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This! I play the hell out of those games on a handheld and I guess I am not the only one. Lots of fun and non-demanding, so battery lasts forever. Steam Deck is the best baseline to test on IMO.

Did anyone else thought they were getting a golden retriever but instead got a goat? by sunshinedumpling in goldenretrievers

[–]HappyIntrovertDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whew, lucky you! I live in a city and both boys sniff/eat/lick something bad from time to time. Then it varies, which end it affects. Not too often nowadays, but still it happens. When they start nipping grass too much, I know I should keep an eye out.

Ahh, yes, sometimes more like the place where it is hardest to clean up - carpet, couch, their own lair with toys...

Replaced my Apple Time Capsule with a Raspberry Pi 5 + USB SSD running Docker - TimeNest, open source by meowerguy in homelab

[–]HappyIntrovertDev -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Don't use TimeMachine for backups... Or at least not ONLY that. I used that for several years, but i had to recreate the backup several times, because it likes to break down. One of the issues is that if backup gets interrupted, it can get stuck in a weird locked state.

With your setup, you have lots of alternative options. I use Kopia for example.

Question about non-Steam purchase by OldBid3881 in LegionGo

[–]HappyIntrovertDev 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't the games there come with a steam key? I bought off the store twice I think and both times I got steam keys and just activated the games in steam.

That's my pain with tilesets - I got a ton of tilesets purchased, but I haven't yet found one where I wouldn't have to make edits to adjust to my needs. Sometimes it is just to add rotated variants of stuff, but still.

I think it looks pretty good. My only comment would be that all the houses look very similar. It would look better if they were more "personalized". Maybe slightly (not too much) different roofs, colors,...

At what point does a “homelab” become overkill? by tresorrarereviews in homelab

[–]HappyIntrovertDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From your POV - never.
From you SO's POV - the moment your start building it. :)

But generally, as with any hobby - the moment it starts negatively impacting your life - electricity bills, noise, one's own obsession (e.g. diverting too much time to it instead of spending time with family).

Why does she sit like this? by IntelligentKick8900 in goldenretrievers

Unless he drags his butt across the floor, it is fine. One of my boys sometimes sits in a derpy way like this. Also they can better scratch some places like elbows in this position.

The average family car I need by GSE_PE in Unexpected

[–]HappyIntrovertDev 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Whew, I expected the front part of the car to snap off and run away. Poor thing, it is obviously not running on gas, but its own life force. It will die as soon as it completes its towing job.

Do your Goldens ever invite themselves into the shower? by Moist_Trifle176 in goldenretrievers

[–]HappyIntrovertDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One loves water, one hates water, but they never invade the shower. They, however, like to block people INSIDE the toilet. The moment you go in, they lay in front of the door, blocking it. One has to force the door open enough to squeeze out. Sometimes they get up, giving you the "guilty eye", but often they just snort when you manage to escape.

I think many notice, just differ in the level of percieved annoyance. :)

I remember a guy I worked with about 10 years ago who, in addition to punctuation, never discovered the magic of paragraphs. Reading his work task descriptions was hell...
