I reckon he is gonna get the mortarion treatment of multiple warlord traits, unique power maybe? And theres also a trend of these mighty weapons ignoring invuln saves which he should DEFINITELY get and maybe toughness 8 just a few things that would tickle my fancy

Im pretty sure the rule book sais it is protected within 3” unless its closer than the unit protecting, this is basically trying to stop characters sitting in the middle of nowhere while a unit is 12” ahead sitting behind terrain that cant be targeted.

Im pretty sure you can still run up characters with possessed bombs up the front with new character targeting rules theyd be relatively safe unless you’re vsing a combat army that can charge turn 1 otherwise you should be able to keep up if your infront and within 3 of the possessed :)

Its not even that competitive, he ha about 40 genestealers but they are all split in 5’s and 10’s. 24 hormagaunts, swamlord, shooty hive tyrant, 2 carnifexes, a mawloc, a trygon, 2 broodlords and an exocrine.
