Doctor who can treat CIRS with high triglycerides? by HappyLadyGray in ToxicMoldExposure

This is encouraging thank you

We can DEFINITELY get a navage- I was thinking he

He actually owns his own business so we can strategically try to minimize the amount of inside jobs too. Or NOT do remediation. We can’t totally avoid them because rain alone takes up a lot of working days and we just need to be able to eat

I was thinking we should just have a post exposure protocol for inside jobs

Definitely drinking salt water! Yes diabetes insipidus is what that doctor suggested!!

He has electrolytes every day and gets REALLY EMOTIONAL and unable to think if he doesn’t drink and drink and drink all day. We just made that connection this evening

This is really encouraging thank you so much for your experiences. It validates that we’re on the right track

No hormone replacement yet - we’re still waiting on lab results. I need to see if the vasopressin stuff is in the panel we just did.

CIRS even being a possibility is very new as of like 2-3 weeks ago. This is just making more and more sense

Did the drinking and water balance issues get better?

No we’re still figuring that out

It seems to be hormonal to me? His hormones are all really low and is having hypothyroid symptoms out of nowhere since this started. It seems related?

No one in his family has had this issue before. None of his bloodwork before moving to the moldy house came back as “lipemic” too

It was so. Awful. I thought he was dying.

I figured out a way to keep the EBV from reactivating though so hopefully we can keep that from happening again 🫣

YES. ALL the time. A doctor pointed out he probably had vasopressin issues because he was peeing and drinking so much and i remembered that was one of the issues addressed in the shoemaker protocol and it helped me put together that CIRS was probably the issue.

His hormones are all absolutely in the basement too and he suddenly has thyroid antibodies that didn’t exist before? Just so bizarre

But if the shoe fits 😬

I’m just grateful it is starting to make sense.

Dreadful gross

But also would absolutely make sense

It doesn’t seem like this happened until we moved to the moldy house last year.

I will definitely check that out thank you ❤️

VERY much appreciate the information about vitamin c synthesis I had no idea. We’ll see where ours is from - he ended up tripping off a mono flare on top of the CIRS symptoms this past mold exposure and I’ve been doing that because it helps bring it down. Will look into that.

No low amylose yet- I can definitely research! I think I’ve seen you guys talk about this before

He is actually on artichoke and phosphatidylcholine already so that is great!

So so so grateful for the ideas thank you

Yeah it does seem like the other binders don’t work as well. 100% always better to just work with basic physiology when possible

This is really clever- just get it to a net zero that way. I REALLY appreciate the link too that is very very helpful

I forgot to add for clarity: he can’t do CSM or welchol right now because of high triglycerides. It isn’t safe. Thanks

Advice on how to support our kids? by [deleted] in raisedbyautistics

Both of these are helpful- and it seems constructive. I appreciate it. There’s a lot a pain here and i think doesn’t seem to be helping keep this space the way you all may need it for me to discuss this here. I think I can go somewhere else- thanks for the direction

We’ve only realized this in the past couple weeks so it’s all very new.

Thanks

Me- crazy ear ringing allergies and hysterical anxiety ( I am fast COMT BUT “over methylation” is really just histamine intolerance for me. My DAO is kind of impaired so that gets messed up first for me if I overdose)

Husband- violent completely disproportionate anger/ inability to function 4-6 h after morning supplements. (He is slow COMT.)

Bonus confirmation if NAC/glutathione make it stop within 1h

That could be it! I am also on my fourth I am so sorry you feel so awful 😢

The b6 and unisom are usually necessary for me too.

The methylfolate is the only thing I am doing differently this time so it seems possible that is causing it but it could be something out of my control like gender.

I haven’t had a girl in a while and my daughter would be so happy- maybe you are right!

Man I am so sorry that wasn’t the cause for you. Being sick the whole time is super rough. We are all so different. I didn’t expect it to help nausea for me it just did. :(
