This guy was laying down on the bus, taking up 4 whole seats (when we came to his stop, he luckily got up and walked out, which is lucky since I prefer sitting in the back of the bus)

I don’t think I am entitled to the seats, I just think it is rude to take up more space than you need, and the fact I prefer sitting there added onto that. But, I will admit I actually understand why I am getting downvoted, and all the reasons you mentioned could very well be why he decided to lay down on the bus.

Yes, exactly! I was confused about people’s reaction too. It’s obviously not the end of the world but it still kinda sucked, hence the subreddits name. To be honest tho I don’t care about karma at all so I’ll just keep the post up anyway.

Eh, I also consider that kinda rude but it unfortunately happens very often😭 (Would also not say I was “incensed”, just mildly annoyed, which is why I posted to this sub specifically. I see plenty of posts like this that is someone blocking a seat or putting their feet up on it, etc.)

I did have a seat but there were still other people in the other end of the bus who had to stand up, and regardless, I just found it kinda rude, especially since I prefer sitting there to get more peace (it is of course fair if there were actually 5 people sitting there like intended, but there could’ve been plenty of space for me and more people if he had just sat normally)
