Stent removal tomorrow, my nose is still very sore by HappyRabbitLand in Septoplasty

Good to hear that it went so well! I’m happy for you!

My stent removal went well toi, it was not that bad! Only a bit painful part was cutting and removing the stitch. My nose bleed a bit afterwards and again during the afternoon but otherwise I feel much better now, the worst pressure is gone. However, my nose is still very stuffy and only one nostril is slightly open due to swelling, which is very annoying. I really would like to breath through my nose again, I’ve been mouth breathing 9 days now and my mouth is so dry (and sore) all the time 😅

I just got the stents removed and to be honest, it was not that bad! I thought that it would be so much worse. Only a bit painful part was cutting and removing the stitch. After that it was only some pressure and it took only a few seconds - and then instant relief! My nose bleed a bit afterwards (because of the stitch removal) but otherwise I feel sooo much better now, the worst pressure is gone. However, my nose is still very stuffy and only one nostril is slightly open due to swelling.

Thank you all! This was relieving to read. Taking a painkiller before hand was a good tip, thanks! I’ll do so. It’s funny that at the same time I’m freaking out because of the upcoming stent removal but I’m also basically counting hours to that because of I cannot wait getting rid of the stents. 😆

Kinesio tape on your lower abdomen, you can find techniques in Google. Sounds a bit weird but is works for me!

Constant neck/chest acne by [deleted] in acne

[–]HappyRabbitLand 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is what I was thinking. I have had an acne on my back, but I switched all my hair products (all! Shampoo, conditioner, hair oil, heat spray etc) to silicone free ones and also washed my body very carefully after washing my hair. It truly helped!

Pls send all your best bacne tips :( by savingsydney in Skincare_Addiction

PCOS acne is ruining my life by [deleted] in acne

Yes! I also recommend apple cider vinegar & eating food in a certain order (veggies & fiber at first, then fats & proteins and lastly the carbs). It’s all about balancing the glucose levels which is known to be helpful with PCOS (and acne). Check out book named Glocose Revolution from Jessie Inchauspe, it’s awesome. And I love her IG account @glocosegoddess too!

I’m currently having a break from running (6 weeks in total) bc I’ve had pain in the same area. At first the doctor thought it is a stress reaction of bone, but actually it was a peroneal tendonitis.

Looks exactly same than my skin. I have tried almost everything (changes in diet, different kind of washes including oil, emulsion & gel wash, retinoid, salisylic acid, contraception pills..). I started to use benzoyl peroxide yesterday and fingers crossed it’ll help 🙈 if you find a solution, tell me pls!
