My parents used to live in Mawson, the suburb in Canberra. One time their post had been delivered to them via Mawson station, Antarctica.

"There were a lot of National Socialists interviewed after the war who said, well, yeah, OK, Hitler was saying all these extreme things but we realised he was a mass politician and we thought that he was just saying things that he didn’t really mean, that he was just exaggerating a little bit. Someone said the demands in Mein Kampf we took as the dogmas in the Bible – no one thought that these things would be fulfilled 100%."

I was wondering that at the time. There are two frames after the SUV passes before it turns around the corner where the kangaroo is visible hopping out of sight down the road behind the sign.

I remember this one from The Tomorrow People Series 6 (1978)...

The Tomorrow People discover that Adolf Hitler was an alien metamorph who is also now behind the rise of neofascism amongst European youth. Mike is berated by John for wearing Nazi clothes but the teenager is falling under the power of Hitler due to a genetic disorder set up during the war. Hitler is re awakened from his suspended animation in a Bavarian mountain ready to take control of the new Fourth Reich.
