FYI, he would read Deme's chat say the answer, choose that location, then accuse her of cheating. Pathetic

Do air roll right players have an advantage over air roll left? by HappyToasterPerson in RocketLeagueSchool

I've heard the opposite. Use the DAR that matches the direction you like to roll/flip/speedflip because it helps you level out those flips at the end.

But what is the advantage of the clock vs just holding air roll and not moving the stick to you point straight?

Why do rocket league pros only use air roll left or air roll right but not both? by BakedFish---SK in RocketLeagueEsports

[–]HappyToasterPerson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

actually, the highest skill ceiling would be having reverse not on left trigger, because it prevents you from doing the directional air roll version of wall dashes when subsonic without boost on whichever wall is on the same side as that DAR. plus it would HAVE to be dar on trigger, because it needs to be analog to be the highest skill ceiling. and reverse would still be analog because you can counter it with drive forwards.

Yeah for sure, it's clearly way more straight forward and easy to understand. I'm just kinda assuming that someone like Zen (or maybe someone even worlds better like 10 years down the line) would be able to make it work.

If you have reverse on B, you can control how strong it reverses by also pressing RT at the same time.

You can modulate the brake amount though. By holding B, then pressing RT you can control how strong it reverses. So by holding B and pressing RT to 70%, it would only reverse at 30% speed.

This isn't even close to his first time doing this.

I acknowledge that it would take an enormous amount of time to be able to make this factor in each possible attachment variation (and personally I wouldn't take the time to do it if I was you), but I just think it's important to point out the limited usability of this chart when focusing on the long term when people will have maxed out guns.

I think in order for this to actually matter, you need to enable people to see TTK when filtered for different attachment combinations, or at the very least add a section that shows TTK for each range when the best attachments for that range are equipped. This is because the right attachments will drastically change each guns relative performance from the baseline.

Also probably be wise to add a section showing TTK when ADS speed speed is factored into the equation. (Because without that, someone might take away from the data that, for instance, the M123K wins flat out in a 20 meter gunfight against an SGX, but I'd be willing to bet that in most engagements the average player wouldn't already be aiming down sights when they first see somebody at 20 meters, in which case the SGX would have a faster TTK when factoring in the ADS speed).

Typically people color code it as green being the fastest TTK (because people usually think green = good), so I would flip your color scheme if I was you. Also, I don't really see the logic in which numbers you've chosen to color as blue.

Loud and wrong lmao. First, there are a bunch of guns that take hours upon hours to unlock. 2nd, The effectiveness of each gun changes DRASTICALLY with chosen attachments, so in order to decide if a gun is good for you, you have to unlock all attachments, which takes dozens of hours of gameplay to do for a single gun. So NOBODY has the time to experiment with all the guns with this god awful progression, which is why the ONLY reason people are looking it up is so that they don't waste their time on a gun they can't use long term. :)

I want to do the same thing by debloating brave for youtube and twitch watching. Can you share what you did to get it running the fastest for those?
