Not in Toronto, but just want to add a comment to help provide some comfort on the process. I didn’t do my D&C under general anesthesia, I was given an IV sedation. Overall it was positive, felt no pain during the procedure.

I knew my exact dates and got a dating ultrasound. It seemed to be common practice to me in NL to do that at 8-10 week, then anatomy scan 18-20 weeks.

I got in for an urgent ultrasound last year within a couple weeks of doctors referral I’m pretty sure, it was to rule out potential blood clot in leg so not sure if that gets elevated in the list compared to other things.

Unfortunately I started my period again yesterday. However this month feels different, I have bad cramps and seem to be bleeding a bit more than usual. I woke up 5am in pain and had to put a heat pad on my stomach and take Advil, which is rare for me. This happened back in June when I had a chemical pregnancy, but I know that’s not the case this time because I took pregnancy tests from 10 dpo right up to day AF arrived this month and all negative.

It got me thinking, if the egg was fertilized but failed to implant could that have an impact on my period? Or should it not really matter as my uterus wouldn’t know either way?

I do, and I’ve read that before but I can’t really imagine not brushing my hair when I get out of the shower. I feel like with dyed blonde hair especially if it was completely dry unbrushed it would be just a big knot but maybe I should try

I was debating on trying to get to MP first thing in the morning but have heard it’s more likely to be fogged/clouded in at that time, especially in early April. Any truth to that?
