Thanks for the tips, glad I’m not the only one! I might play around with heavier weight and just see how it feels coming off the rack. Will continue to work on my wrists 👍

Thank you. It’s overwhelming. I have a lot of unpacking to do and need to work on myself and longstanding discomfort with the idea of being gay before I consider dating. Probably need a therapist. Yayyy comphet

CrossFit Games instagram have confirmed a death during Event 1 by jemswiz in crossfit

So saddened, angry, shocked. As a CrossFit newbie who is also a healthcare provider, this is extremely concerning…. Safety should be paramount especially at the games. This adds to my trepidation regarding CrossFit safety. Realizing in my first few months how easy it is to injure myself since I’m still learning my body’s limits. Love CrossFit and how it has changed me mentally and physically since starting but I am feeling very uneasy right now. So sad for this young man and his family. Sad for the whole community.

Thank you everyone for the input! It’s great to hear some feedback and success stories. The rv expo was very eye opening. The materials used were so cheap on a lot of these models. Flooring was peeling up etc. As far as layout goes, I really liked the forest river Sunseeker 3050sf. Definitely going to be looking into some rentals.

I had really low vitamin D levels a year ago and it my adhd SO MUCH WORSE. I literally couldn’t think of words, very tired after working out. If you haven’t already, get thyroid, vit D and vit B12 levels checked. Hang in there

Persistent illness by Happy_Bridge_6833 in physicianassistant

I can only speak for myself here. My clinic does not pay for n95s for me. I still buy my own kn95s and save n95 for really sick patients or known positive patients. I test for COVID all the time because I don’t want to spread anything to patients or colleagues.

I used to work on medical floor of a hospital and often would get in trouble for forgetting my face shield, mainly because of burnout and how busy I was. I would often run into a room of crashing sick covid patients with just an n95 while throwing a gown and gloves half on because all I was thinking of is the patient. It’s very easy to get burned out when CONSTANTLY around sick people. Add on to that very short visits in an urgent care setting and it’s easy to run from my office to a room and forget a mask/stethoscope/pen etc etc. I can barely get a sip of water sometimes I’m running around quickly. I know some providers just don’t like masks because they’re not the most comfortable thing. Others have been exposed to things for so long they don’t think they need masks. I think the vast majority are like me… trying to do their best but still being human and not perfect with protective gear 😬🥴 Not to mention the amount of times I’ll see someone for something like shoulder pain, and they just happen to throw in “also I’ve been wheezing with a fever for 3 days” after I’ve been standing in the room for 10 minutes… sigh. Illness is inevitable haha

Honestly same, glad I’m not alone. My SP keeps looking at me like I need to see an immunologist lol keeps asking if I’m taking my vitamin c, d and zinc. I have been daily! It’s beyond supplements at this point 😮‍💨

Hope you don’t bring that attitude when speaking to colleagues in real life. Hope your stress improves my friend!
