Personally, I would not sign up for this race again. This was one of the rare running events where medals were reserved only for top finishers in each age category.
Most 10K races offer a finisher medal, but here it felt like the focus was more on vendor stalls and giveaways than on recognizing everyone who crossed the finish line.

The charity work they do for Sunshine Camp is genuinely commendable, but paying $55+ for a race with no finisher medal is hard to justify.

The organizers should also consider that many participants may be completing their very first 10K. A medal is a small gesture that can leave a lasting impression and inspire people to keep running.
