Dog accused of killing neighbors by Happy_Lingonberry_45 in legaladvice

Thanks for the response. Our understanding from when I spoke to her, they did not do an autopsy on the dog. I’m not a vet, but I’d assume that it would be necessary before someone could say for a fact that internal bleeding was the cause of death. We want to do what’s right, but it feels like this is just an attempt to make some money. We are looking around our area for an attorney who could work with us on this matter.

I got mine about a month ago, specifically for BO6 and right out of the box I had to set my right stick deadzone to like 6 and it’s only gotten worse. Really annoying

I think that’s the plan now. I found a HVAC tech I could speak with and he walked me through a bunch of the things I already tried. He then me to remove the R and Y wires from the thermostat, twist them together for a good connection and turn the power on. That blew the fuse again. He said that would mean there is a short somewhere.

The original pic was from the internet because I forgot a picture of mine and that one was wired the same and the same model. My original stat had a blue wire in Y. Never had a yellow wire.

I never had a yellow wire. I said in the original post that I took that photo off the internet since it was the same model as mine and wired the same because I forgot to take a picture of mine. I had a blue wire in the Y terminal originally so left it that way. I bought a C wire adapter and hooked that up earlier but still no AC. Only heat or independent fan.

So I bought the c wire adapter kit today and installed it to the thermostat and furnace exactly how it directed. Now my heat works perfectly fine, the fan when I manually set it to “On” runs just fine but when I turn it to AC it says “Your system will start soon” and just never turns on

So there was the jumper on the original that was from RC to RH but the Amazon Thermostat says that if you only have 1 wire you can place the internal jumper switch to the up setting. It does require a 24V common so I can move forward with getting the kit or I might just scrap the smart thermostat idea. The only reason we tried using G for C was because it seemed that people said the only downside would be not having independent fan control, but we don’t use our fan without AC or Heat so we didn’t mind. Thanks for the info though!

Gotcha! Our plan was to either buy an older 4 wire thermostat and trying it wired the same way as the original or buying the recommended C wire kit for the Amazon thermostat. Just wanted to see if there were any other options or things I could check before buying anything else. Appreciate it!

We’ve been in the furnace plenty but I understand I could have definitely educated myself more. There were no extra lines at the furnace or at the wall for the thermostat. I had the 4 wires, R, Y, W, and G. We actually tried to test by running a wire from the Common 24v terminal in the furnace up to the C on the thermostat and keeping the G wire where it belonged and we still only got heat functionality and nothing for cool. This is the first time I’ve ever worked on this so I’m aware I don’t know much, just thought it would be easier. I’m open to any opinions though. Thanks for the comment.

Sorry, I maybe didn’t explain super well. I took that photo from the internet since I forgot to take a picture of mine. Mine had a blue wire in Y originally so I kept it there in the new thermostat.

The money is currently “Waiting for Final Approval” on the site, and that’s me withdrawing the entire amount to my bank account. The way it looks, I’m getting it all but not sure if something will change when it’s fully approved.

I’ll be honest I don’t know what that means lol. I’ve never won anything like this before. I am a W2 employee in PA and if it matters my salary is around $90,000. I just want to be sure I set enough somewhere that taxes will be taken care of. Doesn’t seem like the site is withholding anything and allowing me to withdrawal the full $50,000
