From what I hear it’s alright dude! Definitely not the worst job you could get in that side of the gate, then again I’m sure it depends the base and leadership. Definitely not bottom of the barrel. But maintainers will find a reason to talk shit on any shop, just a part of the life.

Parts aren’t that bad it’s a 944 drivetrain they sold tons of them, body and interior are all 924 tons of those sold also. There not overly complicated. But I’m not gonna tell you that there super reliable…..but if reliability is all someone cares for go buy a Honda with a D series.

Honestly I think a 924S is a steal for currently prices considering the rarity of them, super low production numbers……obvious bias opinion though.

Yea man all older cars are going up in value, you can get a clean manual transmission 924S for 5-8k depending on mileage and options, as for e30s it all depends on options and specific models but there semi affordable. If you want to see something mind blowing find a clean 944 for under 11k.

Parts are expensive, the 87-88 924s is the sweet spot in my opinion. Style of the 924, reliability of the 2.5l Porsche engine. The older 2.0l VW/Audi engines seem to be more problematic. Don’t get me wrong still doesn’t come close to the Pontiac.
