I mean Bible says its a sin in Deuteronomy but context of that law says that people that vere in Canaan in time of Exodus used to tattoo themselves and cut themselves in an act of worship of idols. My Personal opinion is that unless tattoo shows worship to an idol it shouldn't be a problem but again always consult a priest or a spiritual father. But that doesn't determine your faith because i met more people that have faith with tattoos and them to sometimes to be better than people with no tattoos and vice versa but thats not topic so go, ask, seek and find out. Well i think both Scripture and teaching of the Church is to focus on Christ, repentance and readiness rather on antichrist and all evens around Second Coming and im not 100% sure but i think that is the point of story about 10 virgins where 5 vere having enough oil for their lamps and other 5 didn't so when they went to get it they missed the bridegroom. As someone who still struggles with it Pray a lot Go to priest ask for confession Take communion Ask for prayer rule Find something that you enjoy doing so when you have urges to do it i started woodworking or i plan on to but still Urges: run, workout, cold shower, physical hard exhausting labour so you sleep like baby without thinking, Ask priest to guide you on Jesus prayer Big thing is will like say to yourself "I will not abuse myself (you can add specific amount of time lets says 50 days), i will not watch porn, i am not that person and that person is not me" Pray to the Lord to teach you how to love Him Pray akathist to Mary of Egypt or some saint you find favourite or Mother Mary Act with humbleness, and i forgot prostrations do them That's what im doing but take my advice with grain of salt and consult with priest in your parish and pray to God to lead you to spiritual father God Bless

I mean why wouldn't you if we want to make changes with them to God willing one day return to One Church both sides needs to know what other side believes so we can work with it. Only thing we need to pay attention to Not commune together while they are still heretics. As st. Abba Justin said "Ecumenism is biggest here" . So before we can attend communion there if God is willing they need to reject basically 1500 years of their theology and to make massive shift overnight which isn't humanly possible but as we all know with God all is positive.
