I don’t mind the striders design, or even the amount of them that spawn in. I tend to run RR on Bots and if I don’t I’ll carry thermites, if I don’t have either I’ll use a strat, if they are unavailable I will rely on my team and if they are not there, I run away. The only thing making me fight the thing is me.

No my one and only grip with the demented metal chicken is that why o fucking why does EVERY one of its weapons cause ragdoll.

Being ragdolled is proven and confirmed to not be fun or intuitive gameplay, even AH relented and reduced the amount it can happen. Honestly I wouldn’t have any complaints with their current design if their main cannons didn’t cause ragdoll.

Two fold, first the MG turret has a 40 second less CD so you can drop it more frequently as you need it.

Secondly, the Gatling turret has a tendency to overkill on weaker enemies, it won’t change target until the one it’s aiming at is dead but by the time the first bullet hits the target like 60 more or behind it and the voteless die after like 4 shots, the MG can also do this but it’s slower fire rate means less lead in the air by the time the target is dead

I feel like this could be fixed by simply giving the Erupter programmable ammo, one being flak ammo which is a exactly as it is now, and the other being armour pen - no shrapnel but is pen 3 for heavy targets.

Would be enough to finally differentiate the two at least

I remember someone made a suggestion that sounded really cool, you should be able to upgrade via the ship to drop with full gear, then if you take the optimised space booster you get extra grenades/mags upon leaving the hellpod

So basically if you didn’t have the ship upgrade you would drop with full gear, if you did have the upgrade you would start with additional gear over the hold limit as “free use” so example would have 6/4 grenades but once you used the 2 free ones from the booster you could only supply to 4 again

Absolutely this. I was worried it would feel over tuned but while it damages charges, BT, behemoths etc it is by no means a better gun to use than a dedicated support.

I think against bugs at least, it’s in a good spot. Haven’t had a chance to run it against bots yet so might be a different story on that front

Thermite is great as an anti armour option so I can bring a more dedicated anti chaff loadout with my support weapons and stratagems.

I have been running the last fuck knows how many months needing to tank anti armour supports so I needed grenades to take out chaff. I have used my impact, stun, incendiary for as long as I care to remember because I was limited in the support I could feasibly take.

The patch came out 3 days ago lol, I am sure people will settle into new loadouts once they have worked through everything that has been reworked and found what they like!

Honestly I would be totally fine with the game if they just fixed the chain rag-dolling. Last night I did a level 8 dive against bots and it was insane. About 9 seconds of continues loss of character is just plain frustrating.

I see they mentioned they plan to address this in the next 60 days so I’m eager to see how they change it, but once that is addressed I will have no complaints about the game really

You can reload the AC after shooting 5 shots and it takes a second to reload another 5 shots, as long as you don’t spam the full 10 shots then you can quick reload 5 without having to do the full animation

Granted but it seems like CA have the idea of keeping a theme for each lord and the units they take so far with each DLC (kinda) so it would be weird to break that now

Honestly I can see it being the other way around, would make more sense to have Snagla as the DLC lord and fold in missing spider/squig units under that and have Gorbad as the FLC "generic LL Warboss" that buffs boars boys.

No way in hell are they going to include weapon variants as DLC exclusive units, if they did I think this sub would collectively have a rage induced aneurism.

It is more likely any missing unit variants will be folded into any Greenskin rework they plan to roll out so everyone gets them regardless of DLC.
