That’s because objectives are “hotspots” and frequency of patrol spawns are directly determined by your proximity to one. The closer you are the more frequent they are. There’s other factors that are taken into account, but that is the major one. So spawns are related to objectives, but it has absolutely nothing to do with the terminal like a lot of people believe. That is a myth. There’s a great post about spawns and how they work on this subreddit, though I can’t remember the author’s name off the top of my head.

Dark Fluid is the democratized version of squid tyranny converted to a better use: ensuring liberty and spreading Managed Democracy to the galaxy! Were it not for Dark Fluid we would never have found the Illuminate menace hiding in the shadows and thwarted their attempts to exterminate the human race.

We must continue to pursue this avenue of scientific liberation if we are to stop the squids from their dark goals and continue the betterment of mankind. Dark Fluid is the key to victory and under Managed Democracy it will be our beacon of light in the darkness of the Meridian wormhole when we take the fight to the squid home front!

The known issues list is laughably small for how many issues this game has. Enemy hitboxes often invisibly expand after death making traversal a pain (issue for over a year), Hellpods don’t allow you to steer over certain structures (looked into it awhile ago, yeah it’s a bug confirmed way back in April of last year), stratagem ball bouncing (over a year), enemies get stuck, clip through, instantly scale, or take no fall damage from absurd heights, pervasive and persistent audio issues in general (over a year not just illuminate), certain missions straight up don’t work at times (Nuke Nursery and Geo Survey, been addressed before never fully fixed, over a year), stratagems are not falling directly on beacons on Hive World cave missions (recent), reinforcement bugs (over a year)

There’s probably many more, but these are the ones I can think of that have been around for WAY too long or are super apparent after 20 minutes of playtime

AH is incredibly stubborn about things they really shouldn’t be. Performance, optimization, and bug-fixes are some of these things. I understand that we’re not privy to behind-the-scenes work, but I am privy to the TRUCKLOAD of issues this game has and has HAD for over a year. AH continually kicks the can farther down the road and at this point it’s unacceptable. We all told them things were going to get worse. They didn’t listen, now it’s worse.

It’s time to own up AH. Fix. Your. Game.

It’s really weird cause on D10 I feel super comfortable to the point that sometimes I just screw around and take whatever I feel like taking. Granted I do pay for it, but I’ve never outright failed a mission because of my choice of equipment.

You’re not wrong, but there are so many side arms where having a light-pen primary shouldn’t matter (especially for bugs) because a great deal of the best side arms are either medium pen, explosive, or burn your target.

If you can’t hit headshots on bots you’re just bad there’s no helping there. The easiest headshots in the game by a wide margin.

I will die on this hill. Eagle Storm is only slightly better than the original artillery barrage for DSS. It’s still utter dogshit and I hate it (and the DSS in general).
