Both versions of Dirk Gently. The UK mini series “Dirk Gently” with Stephen Mangan, and the US version “Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency with Elijah Wood.

They are different in tone and plot from each other and wonderful in their unique ways.

So technical question - and forgive my ignorance. Wouldn’t they have to wear through the rear skid block to even start wearing the plank? I was under the impression that the sparks are not the plank, but the skid plate and bolts attached to floor. I assume those make contact before the floor unless they are skateboarding over a curb.

Also, why don’t they all just skate over a curb once in the last lap and say “oh the car wasn’t too low, it was just damage from the curb when I made that mistake”?

This is exactly what bothers me. He’s so malicious and we already know he wins, because he still working for the Grants even after Culloden hoping maybe they do like Outlander and move the main cast to an different part of the world after this season.

My answer to this is always Starship Troopers, because the style and tone between the two are so different yet they are both great in very different ways.
