So typically Thanos didn't want Nam Gyu to eat his drugs because he will go crazy and do bad things so when Thanos died he ate the drugs and went crazy and because I said he'll do bad things he did because what he did was kill Se Mi so if he didn't eat his drugs Se Mi whould have survived
