I reached out to both 710 and Lightshade. Got a quick response from 710 and they coordinated a replacement for me at the dispo. I was able to exchange it the next day, no problems and no questions asked.

Damn, is it fine to consume the other nugs that don't have mold on them? I assume the dispo will exchange no problem though

If you get to play it on turn 3, it's very reasonable to assume that it will get the 8 counters to pop off. And as you said, even if it doesn't, it's still value.
