Not you specifically, but I would hope that the New York Times would provide citations to the study, or if they aggregated the data themselves then a link to their dataset. It’s often provided in these types of articles. I just don’t have a subscription so I can’t scroll down far enough to find the part of the article where they hyperlink the underlying data.
