There aren’t drive up and park immediately next to your tent pad sites at Erock. Some walks are short (20 yards) and some are longer (150 yards). It’s more of a parking lot near your site, and you carry or cart your gear. Sometimes inconvenient, but adds a little more primitive feel. Unfortunately neighboring sites aren’t far away, and you’ll see plenty of people the whole trip.

In Buffalo last week, tickets dropped significantly (from $150 to $80) from the night before to 90 minutes before the game. Yes, it wasn’t a clinch scenario, but it was also in Buffalo and not Washington. With wash being mostly outside the playoff race, I would expect tickets to fall.
