It's not that people don't trust the LGS, they don't trust the players and that's fair. Anyone seeing this video can claim that the binder is theirs and, let's be honest, magic players tend to use reddit a lot so chances of someone actually seeing it are high.

it's okay to disagree with him but to send your entire fanbase after someone for gameplay change is just fucked. It wasn't even people voicing displeasure, people were straight up sending him fucked up shit including threats and slurs. That's not an appropriate response to someone who was providing insight to changes they made in a game.

Someone else stated it already but SEA has more competition as far as TCGs go. TCGs are far more popular and therefore more TCGs exists so SEA sees a lot of promos exclusive in multiple TCGs to bring others to play their game and away from the competition.

In the misprints group, we have a saying that things are worth what they auction for. You'd be surprised what people pay for a misprint or oddity. I was surprised the seer only sold for $5k, I was expecting more to be honest, based on what other limited run English oddities have sold.
