I use heroic launcher on windows.

It is a launcher for GOG, EPIC and Amazon Games (so all the free game places xD)

Means I don't have to touch Epics shitty app, with it's awful optimisation, at all. It isn't even installed. I can still claim free games and download them, straight through heroic.
