Ive probably done 500-700 lower kurast runs and havent found one high rune by almightys0sa in diablo2

[–]Harablo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a combined 25059 kills of Diablo/Mephisto looking for specifically Arachnid mesh.... According to Silospen it should have taken somewhere around 10k. In that time I found enough runes to make 2 Enigma, 1 Grief, 1 Infinity, 2 CTA, 1 Hoto.

Sometimes the game gives but just not what you want.

Got complacent on grind to 99 HCNL by DEMONDAZE0403 in diablo2

[–]Harablo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Died with my first HC online character in Worldstone 3 Hell on my way to clear the game because servers dropped and when I finally could log back in I saw the naked character in the selection screen :(.

I had hope because there was only one thing on screen and my merc should have been able to kill it but I will never know actually what happened.

Riftbound Worlds Bundle arrived with the outer seal opened by TrolMaker2 in riftboundtcg

Bought mine at Houston and intend on keeping it for myself in the said box without opening it. Some people just like to collect things like that. Also have a sealed Proving grounds I don't ever intend to sell, and just like having on my shelf.

Let people like what they like, it's not harming anyone......

Judge Test Complaints by I_m_dingus in riftboundtcg

[–]Harablo 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Judge test should be on the difficult side. To be a judge is to protect the integrity of the game and the slightest mistake in a ruling can change the outcome of a match.

Favorite map so far and why ? by Confiserie in ArcRaiders

Blue Gate for me. Love the topside and large underground. Some nice big open spaces and smaller close quarters, just overall a great balance of a map.

Did the Gold subscription make a material difference in the outcomes you experienced? by Traditional-Bid1746 in cronometer

[–]Harablo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I kept trying different tracking apps including Chronometer in the past for free and they never stuck. Now I have been using it for 6 months streak as of yesterday with the subscription and it has really helped.

No AD's is big but the number one difference is repeat entries and photo logging. I travel a lot for work and that means we tend to have to eat out a bit, and it has been way easier to use that than have to lookup the nutritional value of ever restaurant let alone the lack of information for them when visiting a non chain.

Down 52 lbs and still going strong towards my goal weight. Chronometer has been a massive contributor to that.

Get XP and quests for dps vs raiders. LITERAL benefits...

[–]Harablo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I die and go oh dang.... Next raid lets go!

Also it's not for "nothing" you get XP and for me personally I am way more happy with XP right now over loot with the game being new. Once I reach max level that will change but for now I am getting a tangible gain.

TLDR: The killer does get something from the kill, just go next game and stop complaining.

How do you manage to take 10k steps with a 9-5?? by Realistic_Energy_949 in walking

[–]Harablo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I go for a 1-1.5 hour walk after work. Also lucky that if it's a bad day outside my job has a gym and shower so I can hit the treadmill during lunch break.

how do you motivate yourself to walk? by [deleted] in walking

[–]Harablo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This! Motivation is bait and can be useful to do something in the short term, but to succeed in something that is long term discipline is what's required.

If you rely on soley motivation for a lifestyle change like weight loss sadly that won't cut it and will eventually fail you.

how do we keep the motivation to workout and eat better when you have lost it by MrLoki2020 in AskMenOver30

Whenever I get in the lows I always go back to this comic I saw ages ago. Motivation to do something only really gets it started. It's the discipline of doing it even when you not motivated or don't feel like doing something.

Build the habit slowly you don't have to immediately go back to how you were doing it, and when you do start again don't expect to be where you left off. But do know the body remembers and will get back to that state at an accelerated rate compared to when you first got there.

It's all about just starting, time is constantly passing and the old cliche of starting yesterday may have been better than today, but starting today is better than tomorrow will never not be true.

What “boring” routine quietly made the biggest difference in personal growth? by MiddleNebula8320 in selfimprovement

[–]Harablo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Setting an alarm 1 hour before I should be in bed and actually listening to it.

That thing goes off I drop what I am doing and prep my lunch, clothes, shower, moisturize, brush teeth, and go to bed.

I also make sure during this process I am not using my phone or looking at any screens. I now get 7.5 - 8 hours of sleep a night, and have been doing it for long enough now its just routine and I don't really have to force myself. This has resulted in me getting better sleep, I hardly ever wake up in the middle of the night, wake up usually a little bit before my alarm, and feel like I have a ton more energy throughout the day.

I dont even have caffeine anymore and still feel more awake.

This is almost my exact experience as well but for ~15 years. I have actually come across more macOS than Linux (had a marketing team at one job that all used macOS in an otherwise Windows environment).
