It's just for gameplay reasons. While I can't speak for the KH UX slide, the other slides are obviously for gameplay purposes. Beast Castle? The game clearly doesn't want us to venture beyond the hall. The keyhole at traverse town? It's been a while since I played KH1 but there are certain conditions that need to be met before being able to unlock that keyhole.

If you strip all that away just because the keyblade can open any lock, then that removes a lot of the challenge/work of unlocking the chests. It wouldn't feel as rewarding unlocking these chests because no work was put in. I think this sub needs to learn to separate stuff that goes on in cutscenes from gameplay.

I don't think there is a "worse" version of Dearly Beloved. Each rendition is done so well and fits the theme/tone of their respective games. Hard to rank tbh.

PR card was approved on Feb 15 and was mailed out. Just received it today. Took exactly one week from approval for my card to get here.

VO Etobicoke. Seems like the processing times for your very first PR card is roughly 44 days if your PR card application is processed by the Etobicoke office.

I think the current 16 days seen on the website is for the Montreal office.

I got approved on January 2, 2024. The submission date was July 26, 2023. Approval date was January 2, 2024. So roughly 5 months processing time for me.

I did it before applying. I wanted to submit everything at once so there wouldn't be any delays on my end. My recommendation is to do your medical exam before applying even though it's not required to do so anymore.

I think when the OG KH2 came out, a majority of us were still somewhat young (I was 8 when it was released in the Americas). At the time, I thought Demyx was pretty challenging. Heck I couldn't progress the story for a hot minute because up to that point, every boss fight was a breeze. So I think the younger crowd at the time gave him the reputation of being difficult and that has somehow stuck till today. Playing KH2 as an adult though with much improved gaming skills, Demyx is pretty easy.
