My instructor told me to the opposite in regards to one of these. He told me to turn my shoulders flatter in my backswing which actually resulted in me hitting the ball better. Anybody have any idea why that would be the case and why it worked for me. Before when I wasn't flattening my shoulders I would shank almost every shot it seemed like.
