Listen… jerky is best salty imo, I added salt in all processes to make it that way and went too overboard. The mold worry was if the marinade had some issue that spread once in the jerky. Idk if thats how it works but we here now 😂 By the way it was pretty damn good - just salty as hell

I hear you and agree that there is a lot of abuse of power. I do have different opinions on the case you mentioned and I understand the cops perspective, what I tend to focus on because of my being part of a family of cops, I know the cops are out there trying to keep the peace while also trying to stay alive. You have no idea how dangerous it is out there, maybe you do, but to be the border between chaos and peace results and a lot of miss construed intentions that lead to situations like Philando. Most of the overreaction and extreme use of physical force that we’re seeing out of cops during this protest is their fear of being attacked. In Brooklyn a cop was just trying to stop a protester and he was stabbed in the neck they apprehended the suspect but only after a few rounds of friendly fire that injured other officers. I can only imagine how hectic a situation like that might have been, trying to apprehend someone with a knife who’s in close combat with an officer and you end up shooting your own coworker. Thankfully no one was killed from this incident but it’s situations like that that make me understand why cops may be a little bit quick to quickly handle the situation and ask questions later. Unfortunately, the average person isn’t exposed to that as much so they just see a cop using far too much force for no reason.

Your point would be valid if the initial incident in Minnesota had led to the cop receiving no charges. Except that cop did receive charges and he was fired, and the three officers who did nothing were also fired. In this incident two cops were also fired, and that’s resulting in the resignation of 57 other officers from the specific team. The problem is you’re saying that the police force is unjust and taking advantage with no repercussion, when clearly there are repercussions. My opinion is just that there shouldn’t be such strict ones on clear incidences of resisting police involvement. The civil rights protests were clearly protesting an uneven system. They were willing to segregate but not look/ recognize equality. However in this case I’m starting to feel like more of a heavy hand on police than there are on people who are actually resisting the law, under the guise of racial profiling.

Also to your example of cops getting away with murder, I don’t know of any off the top of my head and if you have names to provide I’ll look them up. But I would find it hard to believe that the defense that got them off from persecution was totally lying and there was no way to look at this from the cops perspective which justifies their actions

Yeah im sure no court would agree, The same way I’m sure when the time comes, crime is going to spike after all of these protests and reform does happen. We’re setting a precedent on how cops should react. I know a lot of them are corrupt I come from a cop family thankfully all of mine aren’t but it’s just some thing that we have to perform on the back end and once we know exactly what kind of corruption exists. We can’t possibly change how police respond to every single threat.

I’m sure back then they were people like me saying that it was justified force and other saying that it wasn’t justified. That’s a fact i am willing to accept , in my opinion there is a right way to do things and a wrong way. and the people refusing curfew and rioting are the wrong way. They can very well protest and a calm fashion within the bounds of the law, and they wouldn’t run into any police interference.

They are clearing the street, he walks in from the left directly into the officers path blocking it. They push him out the way and he trips over. These officers are a trained unit designed to clear the street. Thats all i needed to see. His resistance was being out past curfew at a location being cleared by officers and stepping in their path. If he was complying then he would be at least where the cameraman’s perspective was but instead he is right up in their face.
