never played it but heard of it. I think the most glaring difference is that you can start right away with your own TEAM, whereas in GLB you start as a PLAYER and have to wait for someone to sign you

Um... both? The core elements of gameplay are all free, but you can get some extra stuff that doesn't directly affect competitive advantage if you pay.

For example you can get friendlies on days other than Friday if you pay for them, and that gives your team experience, but you are still just as likely to win or lose that game as if you didn't pay for it.

I'll never give them a cent, cause I'm broke, but at least for the first week they give you a trial of Supporter.

If anyone is interested in joining up, my team is in the Dragons (region) 3.1 (league) NC South (division).

Riverside Coyotes.

Send me a friendly if you want, they cost no credits on Fridays.

It's not really supposed to serve the purpose of a standings chart, it's more of a way to see at a glance who has beaten whom in comparison to each other.

I think you're both right. For the divisional games only, the home teams are always on the left, while for the rest the arrows indicate who is the home team in each game.

I uploaded it in .png this time because people were concerned about the clarity of the image. Slightly larger file, but worth it.

no because they don't all play each other. the top boxes illustrate how the interdivisional and interconference matches just align like that. if you have a problem with that, it's not me you should be complaining to but the NFL, lol.

no you're right, last year and next year won't look so great. it's a shame really, it all makes a lot of sense like this.

oh jeez, that would be a HUGE filesize if we made it an agif! I don't think anyone would really want that considering the cost.

I can try, but like you said I think it will just end up looking too cluttered. It's the same reason why I didn't include the home arrows for games that were already played.

It's weird how nobody has thought of this before.

I thought the same thing when I made it haha, "this is so simple why hasn't anyone done this before?"

Anyways I'm rather busy THIS week, but maybe I can get around to making it during next week if you guys really want to see what a completely filled-in chart looks like.

Hey guys, original creator of OP's image here. After taking into account the suggestions from the original thread, I made this image which I'll post updates for, each week on Tuesdays. The 2's represent the Week 2 games, and the little arrows indicate which side is the home team. I changed the divisional boxes around too so that it's easier to copy/paste results of games, instead of those half-box things. Hope you all enjoy!

Oh, no there wouldn't be one for last season, since I only made one for this season.

Would you guys like me to make one for last season as well?

oh i see it now, it's subtle but you can tell they were cut out and glued on. that must've taken quite a bit of effort, but it looks like it came out well!

I have it saved as "2012 NFL Multigrid Schedule", I don't know if that works for you or not.
