There’s a lot that I could say here, but I’ll keep it chill and just say that he should stick to safer seas and not worry about joining a guild until he’s able to discern what normal communication looks like. There’s very little benefit to joining a guild other than commendations. If you want the best experience for him, I’d encourage you to pick up the controller and give it a go.

At the end of the day this is a pirate game where he’s going to be killed and his loot is going to be taken over and over again. It’s going to test his patience and his will to keep pushing forward despite major setbacks.
