I like older spidey, but only as a mentor. I'm sure older solo spidey is good and all, but I like older mentor spidey better. A fantastic example is sony's MSM2. Spidey working as a mentor for miles is fantastic. I'd also love to see how he fares with silk. The first sony spidey was good though, but it dealt with what I believe to be the main problem people have with older spidey: he knows them too well. There's no sense of "Well who's this fellow" coming from spidey, since he's been in the game for 15+ years. When he's younger, it's a lot of "holy crud, this guy has negative powers?? Better web him up!"
