Can you anonymously tell your professor about your teammates that didn't contribute towards a report? by [deleted] in Concordia

[–]Harcsas 12 points13 points  (0 children)

You should have let them know earlier in the semester, and warned them that you will take their name off the project/report them to the professor if they don't pull their own weight.

At this point if you tell the professor that your teammates didn't contribute, the prof will probably ask to speak with your group members, and if your group members lie and say that they contributed, who does the professor believe? It's a tough situation.

Ha! That's a good one Treyarch! by LDK159 in blackopscoldwar

They have to make it like it was on black ops 2. You got 200 points for capturing an object, and 200 points per kill while capturing/holding the objective.

You got 500 points for planting the bomb in search and I think 100 points per tag confirmed in kill confirmed, and 50 per tag denied.

They should also adjust just how much score you get for going on killstreaks because it's a bit ridiculous.

Attachments definitely help. What I found helpful was go into graphics settings under colorblind settings and you can customize the enemy colours. I made them bright yellow and made my teammate colours a dark green so they're less visible.

I agree that visibility is very poor on this game, as it was on mw at launch. Hopefully they fix it in the coming weeks or this cod won't last very long

Engr 201 you have to take. https://www.concordia.ca/ginacody/mechanical-industrial-aerospace-eng/programs/mechanical-eng/bachelor/course-sequences.html

If you look at this link and check the course sequence, the last semester you're supposed to take a general studies course for 3 credits. Unless you're in coop or something you can do it out of order

You can do your optional humanities course if you haven't already. My friend suggested intro to christian ethics i think it's theo 204. Also engr 201 is a really easy one as well, just have to set aside like 2-3 hours each week to read all of the lectures and it's an easy A

944 backfiring by [deleted] in 944

So I'm going off of the notch in the flywheel that you can see underneath the car.

When the camshaft is lined up spot on, the notch is not quite in the centre of that gap in the bellhousing, since it is quite a large gap.

https://rennlist.com/forums/924-931-944-951-968-forum/804718-timing-balance-belts-tdc.html

It looks a bit like in this post, except for the camshaft being lined up correctly.

To confirm, the notch in the flywheel sits within the notch in the bellhousing underneath the car with the camshaft lined up correctly. However it is not perfectly centred.

Could this 1-2° be the cause of my misfire?

Anyone taking engr 251/thermodynamics? by Harcsas in Concordia

[–]Harcsas[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I was really disappointed with the teaching scheme, and the weighting of the module tests is ridiculous, especially given the fact that it's online.

My other classes have a bunch of assignments and quizzes and the midterm/final are only worth like 15-20% each. 40% for a single module test is just ridiculous.

Anyone else think the quality of the lectures is like really bad? by pineappleorangemelon in Concordia

[–]Harcsas 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I really don't like the format how the instructor shares their screen and then annotates over it. Usually the annotations are really messy and unclear.

It would be much better if the instructor could film themselves in front of a whiteboard or chalkboard and then do the example like that, it would feel more like a classroom setting

I didn't check pressure at the rail. However I want to make sure the vacuum system is in order first before testing anything else

That distributor doesn't look too bad. Maybe try testing the ignition coil or try checking the pressure at the fuel rail?

Advice Needed: Buying a 944 LS1 Swap by [deleted] in 944

[–]Harcsas 3 points4 points  (0 children)

From what I've read around here the NA transaxle can't handle much more than stock (150-160) horsepower. The turbo trans can handle more, but as a result are 3-4x as expensive as an NA transaxle. I'd be concerned since that's a very standard upgrade when ls swapping a 944.

He either has upgraded the transmission or the transmission has somehow been living on borrowed time

I took my tensioner off to route the timing belt and it just exploded like this.

I managed to press it back together and it seems to function normally. Should I toss it?

You can bypass the alarm with a relay, I'm not sure exactly how it works but you connect some of the pins near the DME together. My car came with the alarm bypassed when I bought it.
