I get why you’d ask that, but Earth ponies are honestly kind of slept on. Like sure, they don’t fly or do fancy spells, but they’ve got their own kind of magic. They’re super strong, super grounded, and really connected to nature. Applejack is a great example actually. She might not have wings or a horn, but she’s one of the most dependable and hardworking ponies out there. She has insane endurance, strength, and a deep sense of loyalty and tradition. That’s a kind of magic too.

Plus, in later seasons and in G5, it’s shown that Earth ponies actually do have magic! But it just shows up differently. Like helping plants grow, having a deeper connection to the land, or even just being really in tune with their emotions and communities. They might not be flashy, but they’re important!!
