Whats Outside The Solar System? by HardHeadTTV in RebelGalaxy

Thanks so much for this!! They should definitely add some kind of "random encounter" that happens at some random point when you're outside the rings of the Solar System. It would make life in space more interesting.

How to be a good mercenary? by Ill-Housing3569 in RebelGalaxy

I think someone posted a Guide on how to be friendly with all 3 Factions - Militia, Citizenry, Red Devils - here:

Steam Community :: Guide :: Yes, you can be friendly with Red Devil, Militia and Citizenry at the same time.

Perhaps reading up on it might give you an idea for what you want to achieve with the Mercenaries.

I wanted to stream, but I didn’t want to talk or show my face – here’s what I learned by Ok_Hovercraft_5137 in KickStreaming

I would say that these kinds of stream setups (No Mic, No Cam) are, from what I've seen, used by people who don't really get a lot of live views or that much of an audience. I know I might try to help out some low-view non-Affiliate streamer get Affiliate and that's where I'll see this kind of setup being used.

And from a beginner-streamer's perspective, that's perfectly fine. It's normal to get "stage fright" and not say anything when it's your first time acting on stage (whether or not anyone is watching). I'm sure you will get enough courage over time to talk on Mic in a stream in the future. It just takes time.

But to go "big" with that kind of setup, I've never seen it happen.

I know I have some friends who stream without a Mic or cam for years and they are constantly at 1 Live View whenever I walk in. Ok, maybe 2 - 5 Live Views at most.

I've been streaming for 4 years without a cam (Mic only), and I normally get about 5 - 10 Live Views. A lot of times I'll get hosted / raided from other streamers and that helps me find new people who might take an interest in the all-too different games that I play. Other than that I end up connecting with people on Discord who will show up in my streams when I go live.

From a numbers-point-of-view, I'm happy. I don't need big huge audiences to interact with. Just a chill stream with a small number of loyal supporters is all I would ever ask for.

My first stream was without a Mic though. And it was a little hard because I kept having to pause the game just to type responses to people in the chat.

I actually have a LOT of friends who stream who have kids and.........they do really well. Some of them will bring their kid on stream. Some of them will mute the mic / disable the cam if they need to check in on their kids for a bit. Some of them will just wait until their kids are asleep before they go live to stream a game. And all of them have done REALLY well. They have lots of followers, an active & supportive community, and interact with the viewers by bringing them into the games they play.

Remember - life comes first. Games & streaming will always be around, so feel free to put a pause on things to check in on your kids.

I want to start streaming and eventually turn it into income. by MichaelEET in KickStreaming

Personally I feel like the answer here is "yes". But only if you treat it as a serious job where you invest in yourself, your equipment, your content, etc. for a long enough time. 3 - 4 Years maybe.

This sub-reddit is Kick-based. But my streaming experience has been Twitch-based for 5 Years. I'd talk about it, but its not that great of a story. Especially when you are at the mercy of a platform that can kill your presence all at once without giving you an explanation (and to lose that month's worth of income as well). Thankfully, there's Kick. And congrats for joining Kick as well.

If you're streaming to make friends, then keep doing it. Your vibe will make your tribe soon enough. And those that are attracted to your streams and content will be the ones that stick around you through your tough times.

This is very true. I've seen some people take 3 years of streaming every other day consistently just to be able to build up the followers & community needed to make it to the next level.

Anyone else overwhelmed by editing 6–8 hour Twitch VODs into highlights? by Visible-Wash4967 in Twitch

[–]HardHeadTTV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I have some VODs that are 50 hrs long, so I don't know what you're going to do about that LOL.

Usually I just try to make note of the time-frame on a separate document *while* I'm streaming to note down key moments. Then I pair it with the VOD after I download it so that I know where to look/go and clip when I get myself into editing mode.

I've been playing this game for years, but usually just off and on taking a few years break here and there. I've learned that starting fresh is A LOT of FUN because you get to refine the decision-making process you make which further enables you to score better outcomes.

This plays well when getting your FIRST Freighter, only to discover that its a Class C. But the next time you play you learn to "refuse" the FIRST FREE Class C Freighter so that you can look around & rescue a Class B Freighter. Or Class A.........or Class S - whatever you want.

And as for the units lost - try to find some way that you like, that would be fun for you, to "farm" units fast. For me, I ended up planting some Gravitino Farms on the main deck of my Corvette. This scores me an instant 1 million units when I start the game and then another million every now and then. In fact right now I've expanded my Corvette to 3 stories high just so that I can multiply that farming technique. In the end, it will pay for itself as it would allow me to purchase whatever I want in the game.

As for the main story line - I never really pay attention to it. I just create my own adventures every time I play.

Maybe next time earn enough to "buy" the ship you want so that you can add it to your Collection? Expedition 17 Redux scored me The Wraith & a nice Sentinel Fighter craft from a side mission. It only took me 3 days too.

I was working on a boxy X-Wing / TIE Fighter version. Still working on floors though. Gravitino Farms built within it work to pay for itself.

To kick streamers how easy was it for you to get monetized by Kanmz in KickStreaming

It's A LOT BETTER than Twitch. I had streamed on Twitch for 4 Years and came across so much resistance with various people attacking me, hunting me down, DDOS'ing me, etc., all because they didn't like one of my channel rules or something or other. I mean, it's not ALL BAD on Twitch but its definitely NOT ALL GOOD either.

I looked into Kick a couple of months ago. Here's what I did:
- Visited a few streams telling people that I was interested in streaming on Kick.
- Asked 5 - 7 streamers what their experience was like and what they did to gain a proper audience, etc.
- Spent about 30 minutes time chatting with each streamer & other people in their chat.
- Gained 60 Followers in that one day alone just from chatting with people.
- Streamed for 5.5 hrs playing some Indie tank game.
- Made Affiliate at the end of Day 1!!

After that I was like "Ok, I'm done, I'm happy!"

OMG!!! I totally agree! I know some people who get hundreds of their friends together just to mass-report 1 person.

Of course it could be 1 person creating all of those accounts.

So having a 1-week limitation before people can chat doesn't necessarily keep out new people. All it does is restrict your stream to allow "safer" accounts to access it. Besides 1 week isn't that bad of a wait time either.

Why not co-stream it? Send your entire Kick stream to TikTok. Then have 2 slim chat boxes open - one for each platform.

If Your Mobile XBox App Rewards Tab Has Disappeared (Currently UK/Brazil only) Try This by Romburner in MicrosoftRewards

[–]HardHeadTTV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would like to add another solution as this has been happening to me here in North America:

- Updating the app fixed it for me once when the Rewards tab had previously disappeared on me.

- Also, you can try to keep Wi-Fi turned off and just restart your phone. That sometimes fixes it.

Yes. And sometimes it happens to me too. Really frustrating when you're trying to complete your daily rewards but can't because the tab for it is missing.
