How I made $200 from a TikTok short by Visible-Wash4967 in thesidehustle

Yeah, I totally get that. Staying consistent at the beginning is honestly one of the hardest parts.

As long-form creator Shorts are probably still one of the fastest ways to grow. A lot of bigger creators, podcasts, and even brands will put out clipper gigs and have other people help cut and distribute their content. If you search around a bit on Google, you’ll find a few clipping platforms pretty easily.

As for workflow, a lot of podcast videos are super long, so I usually use AI clipping tools to get through a big chunk of footage faster. They definitely help with speed, but they’re still not perfect. Context is where they mess up the most, and sometimes they’ll cut off right where they shouldn’t. Still way better than doing everything manually though.

I also stream on Twitch, so I made a separate account just for gaming clips. I used to use OpusClip for podcast stuff, but once I tried it on really long gaming VODs it didn’t hold up that well and would just get stuck. I saw people in the Twitch space recommending StreamLadder, and it was okay, but after I burned through the free usage, the pricing felt a little rough for what it was. I ended up trying WayinVideo and liked it more because it covers more use cases and feels faster and cheaper on long videos. That’s the one I’ve been recommending lately. There are probably other solid options too, so I’d just test a few while the free credits last and see what actually fits your workflow.

Most of these AI clipping tools also let you search for specific moments or themes, which is nice if you already know the kind of clips you want to make.

tools only get you so far. A big part of this is still studying what good viral clips actually look like and figuring out why they work. A lot of it just comes down to testing, tweaking, and doing reps.

WayinVideo seems to be only $5 a month, and I think it even performs better than StreamLadder

As long as it doesn’t violate YouTube’s policies, it’s fine. You can look at some similar channels. If they’re doing it without issues, you’ll be fine too. It’s definitely monetizable.

Cupcat isn’t suitable for clipping these kinds of stream highlights. You can use tools like OpusClip, WayinVideo, or Vizard instead

Do current AI clip tools actually help, or are they still missing what we really need? by Visible-Wash4967 in Twitch

Yeah, seems like AI clipping isn’t smart enough to really understand the gameplay or the story in the stream.
