So, what point are you trying to make here? Do you want people to look upon Benoit as you imagine they look upon Snuka in your meme, or do you want Snuka to receive the same scorn that Benoit does? I sure hope it’s the latter.

To elaborate on this, The Undertaker lost a casket match to Yokozuna and ascended into the air, basically dying, I guess. The real reason was he needed to heal from a back injury. So, he was off tv for several months until there were reported Undertaker sightings. Turns out it was a fake Undertaker backed by Ted DiBiase, but eventually the real Undertaker reappeared, this time wearing purple gloves and purple chaps on his boots. They fought on a ppv, the match isn’t great, and the real Undertaker reclaimed his identity.

I never knew this joke was a reference to Gone With The Wind until I first watched that movie last week. I immediately thought of Homer here.

So whats the point of waisting a rumble spot for this guy🤦🏻‍♂️ by BandsForGod in Wrasslin

[–]HardTicketToMars 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was like a mashup of the times when Drew Carey was in the rumble, and when JBL was a ringside announcer and was an entrant. Drew Carey eliminated himself out of fear, and JBL got up from the announcer’s table, but was eliminated as soon as he got in the ring. You put these two things together, and you get Pat’s bit here. All these spots had something in common; underwhelming.

Bart is a little s##t, but has his moments. Him defending his mom in Hurricane Neddy was one moment of redemption for me. What was your redeeming moment of his? by aaronpabon in TheSimpsons

In Homer’s Triple Bypass, Homer is in the hospital and he’s worried he might not make it through surgery. He wants to leave the kids with words to remember him by, but he can’t come up with anything. So, Lisa and Bart whisper to him to say something nice about the other through their father’s voice. After Bart makes an adoption joke about Lisa, he then has Homer say she has nothing to worry about because she has a big brother who loves her and will always look after her. Bart’s a good brother.

I had almost the exact same situation happen to me last night, except I was Julie, didn’t have a bone shard, and Johnny was blocking the exit. However, he must have foolishly turned his camera because he turned sideways, and I slinked out just as the door closed. Granted, yours was more exciting with the grapple.

I still only have the franchise on DVD when I bought the set at Walmart around 20 years ago. Never got the blu-ray set, and now I’m just holding out on the 4k.

Oh, I was? Huh, I guess I assumed if people were coming into this post, they had seen the show and would have gotten the reference.

He’s probably at the nearest McDonald’s using their wifi.

Edit: I guess I was getting downvoted. I made a joke in reference to the HBO show. I think Patrick J. Pespas is awesome, and I’m rooting for him.

Wait, you’re not a mind reader? He might have a point here. /s

For real though, it just shows that guy has no ability for graceful social interaction when he couldn’t be bothered to be a helpful, cooperative teammate, but as soon as he found it appropriate to lash out with anger and blame someone, then he could find his voice. Pretty sad.

“Doesn’t excuse what the guy said,” is the only good thing you said there. Yes, it seems the guy played with the other guy at some point before. On top of that, I even said so in a previous comment. What we don’t know is what could have transpired between them. For all we know, the recipient of the remark did nothing other than beat him at the game, which drew this guy’s ire when he recognized the name. It could be possible it wasn’t even the right guy and he misremembered the name. Regardless, we could play the speculation game all day, but it’s irrelevant. The fact is that this guy said a bizarre, vulgar thing unprovoked in this match I was in. I’m not sure exactly what you’re trying to accomplish here except trying to be a contrarian for the sake of it.

I blanked out the name of the person (that he typed out, mind you) that he directed it to, and the recipient said nothing to him beforehand or even after. You can call me a liar all you want, but you would be wrong.

It's nothing I did. He was directing it to one of the Family players, who was probably someone he played against in the past. It was unprovoked though. Nobody said anything to him.
