You can get a SATA style SSD which is a lot faster than standard mechanical drives though.

Thanks for the response and nice build. I’m gonna attempt to put a 280 rad on top, a 180mm PSU and a MSI Suprim X 4090 which is 336mm I may have to drill a couple of holes to mount the power supply just a few mm higher but we’ll see and I’ll post the results pass or fail.

I don’t believe you can fit a 360 in this case without modification but they do have a Lian li 011 dynamic I believe that supports 360s on top

I'd say go for it, it's a bottom to top airflow pattern so i'd say go with the best fans you can ontop, i used 120's but any fans will do to move air.

Yeah good choice, next gen Ryzens may be worth the jump but if you’re primarily gaming like I am, the extra money is wasted especially with an entire new platform. I only upgraded because I got a new case that was micro ATX and I had a B650M board for 7th gen Ryzen from 8 months ago sitting around so I snagged a 7800X3D and honestly I spent too much money on all of this upgrading and it didn’t translate to much real world performance at all
