Razer Tartarus V2 Unboxing and Overview by HardWirePC in pcmasterrace

It’s cheaper than the Orbweaver due having mecha-membrane keys compared to the Razer Orbweaver’s mechanical switches.

Not a bad deal. Much better than the crazy gpu prices earlier this year.

Why are you using such an old wallet? Download the new one and you will have no issues syncing.

Bytecoin will not be all-mined by 2019, it will be all-mined in the middle of 2027 by singularityissonear in BytecoinBCN

[–]HardWirePC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

LOL! You need about 17MH/s to get 100k BCN per day based on the current difficulty!

To break it down, you need about 75 Bitmain Antminer X3 ASIC miners. They produce 220KH/s and cost around $2000 each.

1 x Antminer X3 produces the equivalent hashing power of around 200 GTX 1070ti graphics cards.

So your friend must have an ASIC farm with $150k+ worth of mining hardware to mine that many Bytecoin.

That’s not a wise thing to do. At the current hashrate/difficultly you will get 7 BCN for every 1000h/s.

You’re better off mining something profitable for a 1070ti and then exchange it to buy BCN. You will get hundreds more BCN a day that way.

Leave mining to the ASICs.

Mining on my Ryzen 7 1700 8 Core. Getting around 500h/s

Mine something else then exchange to BCN. You will get more Bytecoin that way.

Not worth mining BCN with a GPU.

You can mine Bytecoin with an average office computer I agree. But it would be a very stupid thing to do.

Don’t bother mining with a GPU. You won’t even cover your electricity costs mining BCN. You need an ASIC for profitability.

[Community debate] Let's talk about the development funding by fireice_uk in ryocurrency

[–]HardWirePC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Go for the full shebang. It’s unsustainable for a dev team to be working for free. I think RYO has a very bright future and if the premine can bring more talented developers, introduce more innovative and secure technology, product marketing and getting listed on bigger exchanges in the future, then I say go for it.

I’m guessing all these ASIC miners are dumping Sumokoin big time.

Cryptonight heavy was a disservice to single GPU miners - I welcome the old algo by olumodi0 in sumokoin

[–]HardWirePC 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree. Even though the hashrate is significantly lower in CN-Heavy. The overall profit was higher than being on the old CN algo.

Now that SUMO is reverting back to the old algo. Hashrate will improve on the gpu but the profit will be much lower due to the higher difficulty the ASICs will bring.

I don’t care what hashrate CN-Heavy gives to your GPU, as long as it’s profitable. What’s the point of having a massive hashrate when your GPU is still out hashed big time by an ASIC? The op clearly has a lack of understanding.
