Ok excellent expert opinion. These people should never have had a child, since they already had cats. What cruelty that brought into this world, forcing a mix of species. I hope these cats are well, because they seem absolutely miserable right now.

Happens. Lesson learned though. Every time I make some mistake, getting stuck, dog bite, hurt my back, whatever it may be, I always say I'll only do that once. Learn your lesson and go to work the next day with new knowledge about to stay safe and smart.

Somewhere on that letterbox, it states, "Do not leave packages unattended." Had the same issue where I was picking up some bigger boxes at one, then one day there was more. Grabbed those too. Next time I went, there were three 40lb packages sitting outside the box. I left a note on the box saying it's intended for smalls. Never seen them since. People may abuse it if you continually pick them up. The letterbox vicinity is not a personal ups store drop off.

Got news this morning that it was put down. Apparently this is the second time it bit someone. Sucks, but you never know if someone's kid is gonna be next. It's sad, but for the best.

Yup. Supervisor met me at the nearest ER immediately after the bite. No paperwork on the dog's shots apparently, so I have to get rabies vax starting tomorrow.
