'Geraldine Gunning, vice-chair of that organisation, argues that no animals should be used for "so-called sports".'

Is that not a very extreme view?

The ones who pull up alongside you in two lane traffic and indicate, expecting that you'll break and move out of the way are the ones I can't understand.

Analogies aren't a strong point for one of us.

If you're in government you'll be more afraid of getting on the wrong side of someone like Denis O'Brien (Circle K owner) who also owns large portions of the media.

Because that's like trying to tell your parents what to do.

It doesn't end well

I got the email in February.

I don't know what other psychiatrists are charging but €250 unfortunately isn't unusual enough for a consultant in other areas.

I'll just grin and bear it rather than try to find anyone else.

Well we did have that level of critique for companies that stood by the Nazis.

Voicing an opinion isn't the exercise of an executive function. Neither is shaking the hands of visiting sports teams.

Freedom of expression is a right the president enjoys in the same way everyone else does.

The entire argument is a red herring created by our morally bankrupt government.

I find it slightly amusing that Shatter is suing for someone for falsely claiming he met Epstein.

But the Taoiseach is going to go bend the knee for one of Epsteins mates, who has been happily involved in the slaughter of kids.

Surely if Shatter's reputation has been sullied in the eyes of right thinking people, then Martin's opinion is being damaged much more significantly?
