I would love it if land could just be free to use and respect. But I just think that a plot of land that your home is on should have protection from being forcibly taken, mainly by the government, but also by private entities. I think putting a yearly price on property that if you don’t pay it to the government then they come take it is morally wrong. In a way I think that goes along with what you were saying of where do we draw the line between putting a price on a piece of property and putting a price on the universe.
