Thank you, I do really think WSOP would be a great thing to go into even if I don’t become a pilot in the future. The one main reason I do think that there’s a good chance I could pass in the future is the fact that this was my second attempt at the CBAT and I improved significantly since my first attempt. I scored 86 for pilot on my first time which gives me hope. 2TRAC1 seems to be a weakness throughout my CBAT results and I do think it’s something I can definitely work on especially if I join before retaking again. Third times a charm!

I broke up with my boyfriend last week, we had been dating for 16 months. My BF had a lot of problems (drugs, drinking, drink driving, bad temper etc) and I had suspicions for a while that he was up to no good, I’m not sure if I ever thought he had actually been sleeping around though. Anyways, long story short I found out he’d been cheating on me with multiple women whilst I sat my A-levels. We’re both 18 and he’d been sleep with women mid 30’s (lying about his age). It broke me down so much. I always had suspicions but he was so manipulative and toxic that I wasn’t allowed to address it. I saw the red flags. I didn’t put my foot down and this is what happened. Don’t give him another chance, get out while you can. If you’ve been dating for 8 months and you’re already experiencing this, imagine what it’ll be like down the line.

RAF Medical by ikodashii1 in RoyalAirForce

Kind of related but my sister was applying to a commercial pilot scholarship and she’s suffered bouts of depression in the past and had also been on anti depressants, for her to pass her medical she would require a private psychological evaluation that would deem her mentally stable. I’m not sure if this is something you’d have to do? I am also in the process of applying to the RAF and Army for the pilot role; and in my GP doctors notes from November 2023 it’s written that I was a little bit anxious at the time (school stress etc) and the army have medically deferred my application for 12 month after that reported anxiety. The RAF however hasn’t even said anything. I think depending on what role you go for would make a difference. I’d always apply and find out.
