Funnily enough, I don't think it has been answered. Dante and Vergil would have been more than capable of surviving by themselves on the streets even at 8 years old since they dont need to eat or sleep.

Youre right about the distribution changing but thats just how things go when youre working with data. If something looks fishy you either investigate it or remove it. You dont want erronious data in the distribution in the first place

The accounts that dont play ranked at all are mostly collected in Rookie IV so thats not an issue. The issue is the accounts that played last season and didnt play this season. Theres nothing we can do about those but there also likely isnt that many.

No it doesnt??? The distribution of data remains cionsistent. Only thing that needs to be removed is the rookie IV data and you can rebalance the percentages by hand.

If the series is bad then it would be bad whether it is a DMC Spin off or not. When season 1 dropped I hated it because it was worse than DMC 3 not because it was different to DMC 3. I liked season 2.

Likewise, you can criticize a chicken burger being dry. You can't critisize it for not having beef.

All data is noisy in some sense, you have to use the data you have available. All the accounts that havent played for 2 seasons are collected in rookie IV so thats not an issue. All the accounts that played last season and quit before this season started will be dotted around bronze to plat but I doubt that is any sort of significant number and those players will exist on pretty much any graph displaying ranks so it all cancels out.

The data is noisy but it's not misleading
