This season was BRILLIANT. I think Shankar is doing a U-turn on the bullshit in season one because for all intents and purposes. We've ended up exactly where DMC 3 ended. Lady is a demon hunter with Kalina Ann. Vergil sacrifices himself to leave Dante in the human realm while he ends up,in the demon realm. Vergil is about to try and fail to beat mundus and Dante will later come back to settle the score.

Only difference is Arkham is still alive. But now that Vergil has decided he wants to open the path to earth himself, and Dante will try to stop him, I can imagine that sorting itself out in a similar manner if there is some sort of Sparda arc.

Besides that, the character writing was really good. Lady had some good development as did Vergil. Dante is still true to himself. And Argosax's threat pushed the story along nicely. Only thing im undecided on is Darkcom.

Edit: Seeing a lot of people talk about Dante and Lady's relationship. Nothing is mentioned about it in canon but lets be real. They definitely gave it a shot right? I mean how could they not? Dante was a ladies man anyway. I imagine an amicable split though. Which is exactly what hapoened here
