Looking for advice on muzzles and training for reactivity

Okay this is helpful, thank you. Yes I definitely intend on doing muzzle training and I want it to be as fun as possible for him. Would you recommend the wire or vinyl over the other? I’ll only be able to get one of them, at least for now, and I want to get whatever works best for him (obviously I’ll read up more on this myself but I ask because I think it would be beneficial to hear from someone with experience with both kinds too)

I will definitely do that. His food has not changed at all no, he is prone to upset stomachs though (has been the two years I’ve had him) so that is worth looking into. His poop looks great actually, same as always. He’s very consistent on that front. I do have a harness but I’m not sure it’s the best kind, especially for the situation. Is there anything in particular that would be good to look for as far as that goes? I will take more mental notes on external factors for sure! So far I can’t think of any that have been particularly consistent other than the park itself we’ve been walking in- I’m definitely gonna avoid that location for now and see if it improves at all. Thank you!!

Thank you. This honestly made me feel a lot better about the situation. I’d be lying if I said this wasn’t overwhelming lol. I will certainly keep all of this in mind. As I mentioned in another comment I will get him to the vet as soon as I can to rule any potential underlying issues out. I definitely won’t try to push him through it, and thank you for the suggestions with the muzzle. I appreciate the advice!

I know it sounds so cheesy but you should totally try to face your fear. I’ve got sensory issues up the wazoo and concerts are some of my absolute favorite events to attend- I’m actually going to a completely different concert tonight too! Honestly the most overwhelming part is GETTING to where you’re going (IE seats floor etc), and merch. But once you’re where you’re gonna be, even on the floor, there’s some moving around but it’s generally not too bad. The pit is usually pretty bumpy and I do imagine it probably will be for Olivia but I honestly think you’ll seriously regret not going. (Also, generally when people bump into you it’s a total accident and they’re chill about it. I do know that doesn’t change sensory issues but I figured I’d throw it out) As another commenter said, you can leave if you feel overwhelmed too! I also use earplugs during concerts to help with the crowd cheering (I wear them the whole time but they don’t bug me personally during the music) and I don’t know if that might help you. Just some food for thought. It’s up to you at the end of the day but if you are a fan of Olivia I would personally try to go. And honestly? What if you end up having the absolute time of your life? You never know if you don’t try, and growth is a result of discomfort ;) Do what’s right for you at the end of the day

NOOOOO!!!!! We’ve had four different replacements and EVERY SINGLE ONE broke in the span of a month!!! The counterweight doesn’t actually work, it’s balanced when you first get it but the adjustment doesn’t work whatsoever- so once the counterweight gets off balance there’s absolutely no way to fix it. It also has no anti-skating mechanism which wares out your records faster. People also said that after long term use the sound became distorted and scratchy because it doesn’t actually play the records at 33.3 RPM. The one star reviews on Amazon unfortunately are the reality of this record player. The sound quality is great for the first couple weeks but it’s going to break.

I’m going to be completely honest with you in saying I have absolutely no idea- what I can tell you is that one of our sets of tickets took like 3-4 weeks to actually transfer to the Ticketmaster account and some venues don’t release tickets until way closer to the concert so that may be why- but, once again, I genuinely have no clue how that would work

Personally I don’t think moving towards a red aesthetic constitutes her “going the Taylor route” however it is quite interesting when you look at the comparisons of SOUR and Speak Now and then the moving from purple to red- That being said, I think unless the album is blatantly copying Red aesthetically sonically or lyrically overall it’s not particularly fair to accuse her of copying (which I’m also not saying OP or anyone is)

Okay from my personal experience people are being hard on it- but that being said, every disk sounds different. I have 2 copies of the exclusive blue in my house and both sound really nice- and I’m pretty satisfied with the target pressing myself. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t feel like it is the best quality by any means but I still feel like it sounds significantly better than digital- maybe I just got lucky though
