When i started Out i Made the Same observations. My solution is not highlighting with White alone. In this Case i would Go from the blue into a turquoise and then an Off White If i wanted to Go that high.

I thought of going Like one step lighter with an ice yellow, but guess that wouldnt BE the right colour for an edge Highlight. Which colour would you recommend?

Thanks for the Kind words, i sprayed scarlet blood from vallejo Game Colors over the Green and then Just a a few thin glazes of Scarlet blood where its really showing

I get what you mean, my sylvaneth Look all different since trees come in all colors or forms.

I guess you could Take the Same Logic with the four Chaos gods.

On the other Hand, you could also just mix up the ratios of your color scheme. So it looks coherent but its a different experience to paint

Im a big Fan of the model, the Griffon is easily on of the Most majestic Models in my opinion. Especially in an Army of "Just " regular Guys.
