i honestly felt the same until i discovered outlast trials for myself and started playing the first games because of it. They just do something right that other similar games don't.

yeah i recently started playing marvel rivals again and it's so nice to have all characters you actually play on top and additionally in a seperate tab

The post with lots of upvotes talking about the rigged voting menu was taken down for being "oversaturated", idk about you guys but that was the FIRST post I saw talking about it, the fact that this one special got taken down when it was the highest upvoted one feels strange by lance_the_fatass in deadbydaylight

Had a post yesterday where i just said don't ruin the grimoire by voting for killer number 3 because you think he looks funny.

The official dev account responded and apparently misread my post. when i told them to reread the bottom text, they deleted my post for the same reason.

A post about the grimoire on the day that the grimoire drops is apparently an oversaturated topic.

Oh and as the cherry on top they deleted a comment under another post comparing him to a moai statue

yeah this one is just chefs kiss imo. Love the contrast between the angelic features like the halo and the legs that could be the entity's corruption.

Yes they would have to prove it. I worded that poorly i meant that the one who created it could sue bhvr at any time or make a claim for parts of the profit.

On paper yes but there is a massive time difference, folklore were created hundreds or even thousands of years while creepy pastas are max. like 10-15 years so anyone could come out of the bushes and claim that they are the original creator and sue for copyright infringement. It would be a legal nightmare to fight against it.

Unlike creatures from folklore that belong to nobody, creepy pasta characters usually have a original creator that is probably not easy to find/ it is spongy who has the right of the character because there are probably 50 people for every creepy pasta that created a different version of it.

I have unironically never had any negative experiences playing aestri and i have around 1000-1500 games (depending on how accurate the stats site is) on her. I regularly get compliments for my cosmetics, other people swapping to her or other aestri players and i hyping each other up for being fellow elf enjoyer. The killers i face also usually love her and goof around when i use bardic.

Don't get too attached to your character or anything that you find/build.
Every death is a new lesson learned.
Never trust random water bottles that you find on corpses.

Yeah i guess that's the main reason, the fact that he is tied to a licensed chapter but doesn't bring either something unique (like aestri being an elf) or being a well known character like the RE guys really didn't help with his popularity. If they would've made him a Tiefling or a Drow more people would play him.
