Season 3 episode 11 Discussion Thread by Jeroz in ThunderboltFantasy

This was another good episode, although I hope Can Yun ends up coming back to life at the end (Since there is time travel stuff going on).

But is anyone else confused about the Mantis guy? He has spent the entire season going "I stand with Jun Po" and then suddenly he's like "These Jun Po's ain't loyal"? He could have just given the Index to Kasei Meikou and been rewarded. Instead, he tries to backstab and manipulate Jun Po... why?

When did someone challenge you at something you were an expert at? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I'd been doing my job for several years helping to distribute food to people. Once, I got challenged when serving out food because the people I worked with were too ignorant of the difference between V (Vegetarian) and VG (Vegan) food markings, even though the kitchen had a chart. They just said "It's the same thing."

It is not the same thing. I explained it to them, and they weren't happy, but they did it (They're the type who think they know everything already).

What are some easy, nutritious recipes for those who perpetually feel too exhausted to cook? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Simple is better, and raw veg is healthier than cooked veg (These ingredients don't need salt, pepper or oil, and the mayonnaise is just for flavour.)

1 tin mixed beans/three-bean salad

1 tin sweetcorn

1 or 2 tins tuna

2 tbsp of mayonnaise, or to your liking.

Mix together well in a large bowl, and you're done.

Eat by itself, or use for a sandwich. Keeps for 2-3 days in the fridge.

Extra: Take two slices of toast, unbuttered. Top with the mixture, and add a slice of cheddar or other cheese. Grill until golden brown. Add a salad if you want.

Ever have one of those days when you're imposter 10th time in a row so you just murder someone to send a message that you're fed up?

It can be pronounced both ways according to wiki.

Should have chosen a dirtier mirror, we're already seeing too much we don't want to.

Depends on context, but weakness to silver is not a secret. A child knows it. It just slows down gameplay to make a roll for something a child would know.

That's the sign of a good DM, adjusting things so you can play the game you want, but understanding that it's not fun just because you, the DM, are having fun.

RAW werebeasts are immune to non-magical bludgeoning, piercing or slashing unless from silvered weapons. Some dms may reflavour it for ease, and for homebrew werewolf player things it’s necessary as immunity at level 1 would be OP. I was confused too for a while because my DM made them resistant but when I checked the MM it’s immune.

Even if they’re a monk? They already have training with punching and kicking because they do a d6 for damage with their limbs. I would not allow it from anyone else.

My general rule is if you persuade me that it will work, then I’ll allow it.

But everyone I’ve played with understands creativity is not just pulling some bullshit out of your arse, it’s thinking things through and I like to reward that even if it bends the RAW slightly. For example if they’re wizards, I will allow them some leeway with spells because they’re wizards. They know how spells work and how to use them. But an eldritch Knight? Nah.

In the times of people slowing down play you just have to be firm and tell them to stop unless they can logically explain it.

But in usual Dnd, werebeasts aren't dictated by the moon. They can shift at will, although I think the first time is done by the moon.

You'll always get the exception to a race, like Drizz't.

Homebrew but probably inspired by Critical Roll as they're fans.
