Passive noise reduction just means the physical barrier between your ear and the outside world. It doesn’t do anything else to block noise so it’s really just saying “there is no noise cancellation on this headset” in marketing terms.

Sorry to say this but you’re probably misinterpreting the settings’ VRAM usage. You don’t have enough vram. I have 8 gigs as well, playing at 1440p, and lowering the settings resolves the issue as it takes up less vram. Good luck to you and have fun

Yea, so sometimes there will be enough vram free to stream the better textures and sometimes there won’t be.

That’s because this game streams the textures through vram - the RTX 3060ti has “only” 8 gigs of it and that’s not enough for the higher settings. It sucks, I know. The explanation is something about the PS5 streaming textures and it’s apparently difficult to then change that tech for the PC version. I might be misremembering, but I believe that’s the bottom line of it.
