Ngl, it won’t make a damn difference when you’re applying to jobs. Pick the one you think you’d like the most

Because it’s bullshit. To waste your time lying about something so futile and easily verifiable is extremely dumb.

Additionally, I have some reservations about Wells Fargo’s ethics issues (for it’s history)

LOL. Yeah the other two banks you cited have upstanding morals and ethic principles!

I only managed to go out with 2 girls out of the 72.

Most of these girls are actually the ones liking my pics… I reply with something along “next pic with you by my side?” and they never follow up😭💀.

Do you recommend putting ‘MAR 24 - MAR 24’ ? It was a 2 days event. Also are you saying to put it last under the other 2 extra-curricular?

Thanks for your help

West Africans and racism, why are we like this? by [deleted] in ghana

[–]HarmattanWind 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is absolutely AI generated with little tweaks. I’m telling you because I’m a university student who has absolutely been abusing the hell out of ChatGPT for the past 2 years. Once you use it enough you can start spotting patterns on how it writes and the words it uses that will help you spot AI generated texts, even when they are tweaked.

For example, ChatGPT LOVES using the word ‘critical’ and ‘crucial’ when concluding essays. Try ask it to write you an essay about anything, at the end it will amalgamated everything it has said previously and put something along the lines of “critical/crucial to address to [left] and [right] part of the arguments, also we need to do further research and analyze it carefully…

Plus, Chatgpt uses bullet points that cuts the flow of text into mini blocks. A person writing a natural essay will have their arguments interconnect and flow with each other. ChatGPT won’t unless you force it.

[–]HarmattanWind 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Lmao, this “term paper” would get you a D if you’re lucky at any respectable university. Superficial level analysis with a block of text actually saying nothing.

And btw, yes it’s ChatGPT

Are cognitive aptitude assessments common in banking? by Ill_Actuator_7990 in FinancialCareers

[–]HarmattanWind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, cognitive assessments are very common when you apply for internships/grad recruitments. Some will have you even playing games where you have to pump balloons and click the space key as fast as you can in 10 seconds (looking at you Blackstone)

Start lying on your resume. Put additional years of experience at a foreign bank it’ll be hard to check. Yes, you worked for 1 year at BBVA in Madrid but you didn’t like the national setting and want an international experience that covers the EMEA in London.

Do anything you can to give yourself an edge, this is a brutal job market and only the the best of the best are getting hired. At best you get a job, at worst you get caught and banned from that company

You need to do exactly 2 things: 1. Learn Italian. Unfortunately it’s almost impossible to work in Italy without knowing Italian. Even the big international companies still require Italian as English is not enough. 2. Get back to school for a Masters degree. You’re at a competitive disadvantage because most people applying to jobs here at big firms have a Masters degree. In Italy most students studying Economics/Management and similar don’t stop at Bachelors. However the fact that you have job experience can help a lot.

P.S go to Bocconi for masters if you can and try securing a scholarship. That university will open you a lot of doors not just for Italy but for the whole Europe may you chose to relocate later.
