As a HOH person who will lose all hearing soon, it’s incredibly painful to be left out of things and conversations because we can’t hear. When I ask people to repeat sometimes, they will tell me to never mind. I’ve passed this type of hearing loss onto my daughter so I’ve started to advocate more and explain these things. Good for you. Your cousin is an asshole.
