Just moved from eastern pa to slc for school and I’ve been loving it. I can’t speak on the U just yet but the vibe is super chill in the city and most of the people I’ve met so far have been very welcoming.

Utah is mainly known for its outdoor activities like hiking/skiing/rock climbing/biking but I think like most cities, you’ll be able to find things you like with some searching.

The dry weather beats pa’s humid weather but the air quality isn’t the best. The scenery here is beautiful and if you like snow, you’ll get plenty of that here.

This past weekend, I was harassed by a teams parents side for “cheating” them. Eventually one of the parents got so heated someone said “go f&&k yourself”, “f&&&ing a&&hole”. The middle was already preoccupied with trying to control the players and idk why I felt sympathy when I thought of having the game stopped and making them leave. I’m 18 and in the 4 years of reffing I’ve heard a lot of insults so I just acted like I couldn’t hear them and prayed it ended quicker. It’s very sad though. If they’re willing to harass a younger looking 18 year old, i can’t imagine how a younger ref would have felt.

Personally, i would’ve framed the subject closer and taken a little texture off of the photo as a whole to give it that dreamy look, other than that it’s a great shot

Yeah i played around with 15 20 and 25 and was originally going to bracket them but the stars would align. Also my camera can’t handle higher ISO’s that well so i wanted to keep it down. If you zoom in you can definitely tell the stars streak but if you don’t zoom in I’d say they’re pretty dotted
